Dangerous goods / Special Cargo

Not all bookings for all dangerous goods can be accepted for all liners/routes and ports. Some ports may restrict certain types of dangerous goods for safety reasons. Relevant information and documents (POL/POD, IMDG code, Etc.) must be provided prior to booking.

CK Line prohibits IMDG Class 1(Explosives), 6.2(Toxic and infectious substances), 7(Radioactive material) shipments all-time.

CK Line complies with the IMDG Code to prevent any incident during transportation. Failure by shipper (packers) to carry out procedures in compliance with the IMDG code will have serious financial and legal consequences for those responsible in the event of that non-compliance being the cause of an incident.
MSDS(MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET)
MSDS is a document that contains information about hazardous materials in a shipments. It is provided by a shipper (via the manufacturer) along with the IMDG code.
